A legend fresh from Nova Scotia

At DeLong Farms we have been selling Christmas trees for over 60 years and making balsam fir wreaths for more than 30 years. Today, we are a third generation family farm. In addition to growing Christmas trees and making wreaths every fall, you will find us producing eggs, cattle, and vegetables that we sell throughout Nova Scotia. For more than 60 years we have made a priority of sustainable farming practices and support for our local community.

Nova Scotia has a history of producing and shipping Christmas trees reaching back to the 1920’s. We use Balsam fir, which grows naturally in Nova Scotia’s cool coastal climate and drumlin hills. Balsam fir trees are known for their outstanding natural fragrance and long life through the Christmas season.

DeLong Farms is proud to provide our customers with fresh wreaths and trees direct from our farm to their door. In addition to wholesale customers, we partner with fundraising groups who are raising funds for community groups, schools and other great causes.
